Reflection of feedback:
Based on the feedback, I realized that my viewers loved my second pitch. They said it was better from my first and I showed that I was very comfortable and confident in my words. The only real feedback mentioned that it's important for me to sound excited about my product. I must show my passion through my words and hand gestures. The feedback also made me realize that this pitch needs to be more memorized and enunciated to make sure my point comes out as clear as possible.
What I changed, based of feedback:
I changed the wording for this video to add a more compelling tone. I also tried to memorize most of the pitch while recording and use more hand gestures while recording.

  1. Hi Gernise,

I gave you some feedback on pitch #2 and it seems you made some changes. Now you seem to be excited about your business idea. You also seem confident about your idea. Showing enthusiasm is a big part of this assignment since it is a way to grab your viewer's attention. I think that your #3 pitch is the best one. I think that we are much better now at doing elevator pitches. I also had some improvement compared to my first. I hope that you continue to develop your business idea. You can have great success with it. You did a great job. Thank you for sharing!

  2. Gernise,
Even though I have put your last two elevator pitches in very high regards, I can't help but to say once again this may be the best one you've had. I noticed a lot more hand gestures which is good because it shows more emotion and excitement for your business and it is something I had troubles with too at the beginning and tried to work. I can definitely say we have all gotten better at the elevator pitches and being able to use our older ones and the feedback as comparison tools is a very effective and helpful way to get better at something that is very important for the future.

  3. Hey Gg,

First off, your voice is very soothing and in a way convincing. I really enjoyed your pitch. I am a consumer who is too cheap to buy flight insurance, so when you mentioned that part I could easily relate to what you were going to share. You did a great job with your physical gestures as well! Honestly one of the best pitches I have seen in the class! Great job!
